Since its foundation in 2001, the Rising STAR Group has raised more than USD 330 million of investment capital in closed-end investment products. A detailed presentation of the development of individual funds is given in the performance record.

In 2008, the year of the financial market crisis, Rising STAR's closed-end investment products demonstrated their pedigree by preserving capital and making additional early distributions to investors. Last year, for instance, the dividend ratio of some funds was increased to as much as 12.5%.

After an investment period of little more than two years, this represents a first on the market for corporate investments for private German investors, and is a positive exception in the recent development phase of the STAR private equity funds. The 2008 performance record is therefore impressive proof that Rising STAR's intention to 'Invest with the best' pays off, even in a difficult market environment.
